DJ Eazy T
Dj Eazy T, the Mix Maestro as he is affectionately known, has been subverting minds through his musical exploits for more than a decade. He has played on radio, in clubs, and at events, and now tours with his decks. It’s a wonder how he managed to make it academically as he was juggling it with his new found love: djing. Celebrated for his musical ear, Eazy has toured extensively in Zimbabwe, Botswana, Kenya, & Malawi sharing the stage with Africa’s big pop bands — amongst others Mafikizolo, Tuku, Malaika, & Mzekezeke. His debut double CD album aptly named Methods of Mayhem — The Saga is out on SMP Records in October 2009!
Eazy T had no formal training; he claims to have taught himself all the skills necessary to do what he does. He says, “I prefer the kind of djing where I do not plan on a playlist or play premixed material. In that way, I enjoy my playing as much as the crowd does.”
